The survey responses will inform a report written by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), in collaboration with C Minds, on the State of AI for Social Good in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The report, among other objectives, aims at providing existing efforts with more visibility, be they from the government, industry, academia and civil society of a range of countries in the region as a starting point to accelerate peer-to-peer knowledge-transfers.

While our report requires information from 12 specific countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago and Uruguay) selected according to the advances in digital government and open data, we are interested in obtaining information from every country in the region to contribute a general perspective about the perception of the importance given to Artificial Intelligence (AI) ethics.
