CARBON ZERO INITIATIVE OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

A non-profit organisation dedicated to the singular purpose of Trinidad & Tobago becoming a Carbon Neutral country and a leader in sustainable practices. We carry out research, programmes in climate change awareness and advocacy, promotions, engagement with stakeholders and development of projects.

We work with schools, businesses, communities and citizens to reduce their carbon footprint and carbon offsets.

1000 Trees Challenge

Organisations are challenged to plant 1000 trees. The moringa tree is favoured for its high carbon sequestration, health benefits and opportunity for a local moringa industry. The trees are mapped in CZITT's informal Carbon Offset Register ("CORE").
