What have you accomplished so far and what are next steps?
We are recognized as a civil society actor with technical solvency, responsibility and transparency in management and we have become a key organization in Latin America in harm reduction and drug policies. We develop studies that provide relevant information to the country and organize innovative programs tailored to the needs of their recipients. We intend to expand our activities to other related topics.
How do you make sure you are doing things right?
Monitoring and evaluation are essential processes in the operation of our projects. A central element is the participation of the beneficiaries in these processes. All our projects are carried out in accordance with the standards of our code of ethics, which indicates the fundamental values and principles that must be followed.
What are the social and environmental commitments you adhere to?
We register our actions within the ethical horizon of the defense of human rights, social commitment and scientific rigor.
How do the members of your organization identify?
Respect for human rights and gender equity are values that we uphold, so we do not tolerate acts of discrimination for any reason.
Additional information
We are an NGO d in Buenos Aires in 1995, by a group of professionals with experience in problems related to drugs and HIV / AIDS, who in turn carry out teaching and research at the University of Buenos Aires. We maintain ethical and cooperative relationships with other organizations to achieve the greatest public good.
