The Suriname Trade and Industry Association (STIA) is the most representative employers' organization in Suriname. STIA represents the business community on a wide spectrum of issues, ranging from trade and economic issues to social development and the environment. STIA supports Decent Work as well as the other Sustainable Development Goals. STIA was therefore instrumental in spearheading the formation of the Alliance for Decent Work for persons with disabilities in February 2018.
