Women Across Differences (WAD) is a non-governmantal organisation that enables women and girls to empower themselves through access to social and economical resources. We work across the dividing lines of age, ethnicity, class, politics, and religion.
Our programmes reach economically depressed groups surronding georgetown and aim to imrove the lives of Guyanese people by focusing on proverty reduction, gender-based isues, social cohesion, sel development and youth involvement.
Comprehensive Empowerment Programme for Adolencent Mother

The main aim of the programme is to reduce unplanned pregnancies amongst adolescent mothers while enhancing their life skills and competencies. The programme equip young mothers with sexual reproductive health and family planning education, self development training and skills.
