Anseye Pou Ayiti (APA) works with civic leaders to a Haitian education system fueled by collective leadership and community development. We engage teacher leaders, parent leaders and school leaders from Gros-Morne, Gonaïves, Hinche, Boucan-Carré and Mirebalais through our fellowship programming to co- lasting change in schools and communities. We will also equip community coaches in fostering mutual gth.

Our goals are: • stronger movement building through fellowship programs; • mutual gth through community coach residency and • data work for evolving community needs.

With civic leaders, we build strong networks of collaboration for equi student outcomes. APA’s staff members are Haitians who have a deep understanding of local communities’ needs. Each member brings in their unique perspective and relevant expertise. In our team: • 91% are in Haiti; 9% are in the US; • 48% are women; 52% are men; • 100% have secondary degrees; • 94% have undergraduate degrees; and • 9% have postgraduate degrees.

Fellowship Programming Teacher Leaders, Parent Leaders and School Leaders

Community Coach Residency

Patterned after medical residencies, APA’s coaching residency will train community coaches to be direct guides of fellowship cohort members. They will also learn to nurture talent based on mutual respect and development. We aim to launch the residency in late 2024.
